TANZANIA 2010/11
This was our first year of trying something a little different. Rather than running one or two big projects, we opened it up to many more smaller projects, run in different areas across the country.
In total we had six groups of volunteers head out to different regions. We had teams headed up by individuals like Duncan, Steph and Neil, as well as Jonathan's team from CBRE. All great people, giving up their time and paying their own way to volunteer for The Great Football Giveaway.
Between them they managed to deliver over 7,000 footballs and netballs direct to kids across the country.
A huge thanks goes out to all the volunteers that made this happen, and to all their friends families and colleagues that supported them along the way.
As with previous projects, we teamed up with our friends over at the charity Alive and Kicking - buying their balls, which were made and stitched in Zambia.
